Terms of Service

Pup Finder provides smart QR pet tags and a subscription-backed alert service. When a finder scans a tag and approves location sharing, we attempt to deliver an SMS to the registered owner with the location and any note from the finder.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your phone number current — alerts can only reach you if your contact info is up to date.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the term you chose (monthly or annual) at the rate displayed at signup.
• You can cancel any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals and your service continues until the end of the paid period.
• Annual plans include two months free relative to the monthly rate. Refunds for annual plans are pro-rated within the first 30 days; otherwise non-refundable except where required by law.
• Activation fees and physical tag purchases are one-time and non-refundable once a tag has shipped.
• Founding-Member pricing is locked for as long as the subscription remains continuously active.

Pup Finder is not an emergency service. Recovery of a lost pet is never guaranteed. SMS delivery depends on carrier reliability, your device, and finder cooperation. Always pair Pup Finder with a microchip, current vaccinations, a physical ID, and local lost-pet networks. Pup Finder is not liable for any loss, injury, or death of an animal.

Finders are not required to share location or identifying information. By tapping the share button on the finder page, the finder consents to a one-time forwarding of their location to the registered owner. Finders may not use the service to harass, defraud, or extort owners.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your pet's profile and the legality of the reward you offer (if any). You will not use scan data, finder contact info, or owner contact info for any purpose other than reuniting the pet.

• No impersonating other owners or claiming pets you do not own.
• No abusing the SMS system, no spam, no automated bulk requests.
• No uploading content that is unlawful, hateful, or that infringes third-party rights.
• No reverse-engineering, scraping, or attempting to bypass security controls.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Physical tags remain useful only while a subscription is active. Lost or damaged tags can be replaced for a fee from your dashboard. Transferring a pet (e.g., adoption) is supported via the dashboard's transfer flow.

The Pup Finder brand, software, and tag design are owned by Pup Finder, Inc.. You retain ownership of pet profile content you upload; you grant us a limited license to host and display it as required to operate the service.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Pup Finder, Inc.'s aggregate liability is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in Travis County, Texas, except for small-claims actions and equitable relief.
